session one
CHILE
We will use our imagination, I will go to Chile where apple orchards abound. Did you know "granja" (farm) in Chile is "fundo"? And "calabaza" (pumpkin) is "zapallo"?
We will be visiting "la granja de la abuela" (grandma's farm) Oh, wait! Abuela doesn't call it "granja" but "fundo". Wow!! We will be learning a lot with her as we help to harvest apples and vegetables.
session two
El Salvador
How do you make a pupusa? You'll have to join us to find out how Bamboleanos make yummy pupusas (hint: using a lot of imagination, song, and play!).
In addition, just in time for the holiday season, kids will become little helpers around the house, as we pretend to wash clothes (old school: by hand!), wash dishes (also old school--ha!), sweep, dust, and much more. Kids love to be helpers, so now they'll practice their Spanish as they help around the house.
Another fitting topic for the season: Travel! We'll also cover the various forms of transportation--¡¡Nos vamos de viaje, nos vamos de viaje, nos vamos de viaje, a ver a la familia!! (We're going on a trip, we're going on a trip, we're going on a trip, to see the family.)

MATERIALS:
Includes 2 bilingual storybooks (digital/printable PDF format), digital music/storytelling, a songbook/vocabulary activity book (digital/printable PDF format), and supplies for in-class arts and crafts.
Each 6-week session is unique and includes a new set of materials.
Fee per six-week session, due to the instructor on the first day of class (Debit/Credit, Cash or check payable to MCDE or Susana Paniagua)
We offer make-up classes for those times when you just can’t get to class.

Session cancellation after the first class cannot be refunded or credited.

Make-ups are allowed if the proper notification was provided. Please, arrange with the instructor for a make-up day at one of our locations. Make-ups must be completed within a six-week session.
