¡Vámonos todos a Costa Rica! Let's all go to Costa Rica! ¡Vengan Ticos, vengan Ticas estamos en Costa Rica! Come on Ticos and Ticas, we're in Costa Rica. We're in the tropical rainforest, where kids will meet all sort of animals, including a lazy sloth and hungry anteater. Kids will hear the story of the wide-mouth frog, who curiously wonders what everyone eats for dinner. Kids will also prepare and participate in a parade, trotting like horses, dancing baile folklorico and marching with the band. Children will be immersed in the Spanish language via a unique style of storytelling, music and movement, games and role play. Our original stories and music not only highlight the cultural richness and diversity of the Spanish language but also demonstrate that kids have a lot in common around the world! Online Apps we will be using: SeeSaw (access codes will be provided by teacher / Gmail account needed to login.) Resources and activities will be posted on the Members page of this website. *Sibling can join for free when sharing the same screen. *Digital materials (music/song book/story book) included. *SeeSaw activities to work after class. *All of the classes will be recorded and posted on Members Page. Your child will have access to watch these recordings until August 28, 2021.
